Q: Are you still in the BTS fandom? Will you write more BTS fic?A: I will always love BTS, and I have the most special place in my heart for them, but I have not felt connected to them OR the fandom in several years (please see here for my thoughts on that). With the enlistment period in full swing, none of that is going to change any time soon. Once they are promoting as a group again, I will be back to see if they can rekindle that spark for me, but to be completely honest, I'm not expecting them to captivate me like they used to.I don't see myself writing more BTS fic, even after they return from enlistment. So thank you for sticking with me for more than 7 years, but I don't think I have anything left to offer the BTS fandom. ♡
Q: Are you currently working on a fic?
A: I am working on Stray Kids fic! A little while ago I posted a wipwednesday for a canon compliant Chanlix with werewolf Chan, and I'm having a great time with it.
Q: Are your word counts intentional? Isn't it hard to get them so even?
A: Definitely intentional! I edit for word count to the hundredths place. It was a coincidence that Honey, ESST, Vagabond, and TWOTM all made it to even thousands.I don't have stats for Honey, but ESST was 32016 words when I finished, so I just deleted 16 words. Vagabond was 43909 words, and I decided to add 91. TWOTM was 39061 words so I deleted 61. With that in mind, I'm never more than 100 words away from reaching my goal, which, in the grand scheme of a fic thousands of words long, is basically nothing! So, no, not hard!
Q: How did Seokjin end up in the aquarium in the first place?
A: I don’t know! I was never able to come up with a logical answer. I totally understand the curiosity, but ultimately, I don't think the lack of backstory really impacts the reader's enjoyment of the present story. It’s up to your imagination.
Q: Will you join X fic fest, ship week, bigbang, zine, etc?
A: Nope! I I don't write fic on deadlines. Makes it feel too much like a job. I don't want my hobby to start feeling like a job.
Q: Do you take commissions?
A: Nope! I am uncomfortable with standard commission pricing, and I am really only interested in writing exactly the kinds of fics I want to write, not what other people want me to write. I would be miserable taking commissions for stories I don't believe in.I can force a plot from my brain, but I can't force a story from my heart, you know?
Q: Would you ever write X trope? Would you ever write X ship?
A: I would write many things if I had unlimited resources. But whether or not I will is an entirely different question. For example, I enjoy vampire fics, so yeah, hypothetically I would write one! But will I? Maybe! Maybe not! Technically anything could happen, but it's impossible to say for sure.
Q: Is there a genre or trope that you haven't written but would like to someday?
A: Kidfic. I wanted to write this parent/teacher AU, but I've moved on from BTS fic, so. Also, the mere idea of writing kidfic is absolutely exhausting to me, so I doubt I'll ever write any.
Q: Can I make transformative works (podfic, fanart, remixes, etc.) for your fics?
A: Yes! Please see here for my full permission statement!
Q: What kinds of fics do you like/not like to read?
A: Yes: canon compliant, canon divergent, magic/witches/fantasy, mythical creatures (mermaids!), gods, royalty, bakery, coffee shop, flower shop, university, travelogue, single parent/kidfic, found-family. Atmospheric stories that emphasize character, imagery, tone, mood, and structure. Just!!! Stories where the characters end up happy and in love!!!! (But also tentacles.)No: I am no longer interested in reading BTS fic unless it's rereading an old favorite. Otherwise, I don't want: WIPS, endgame character/OC, heavy angst/sad endings, major character death, gore, underage, rape, incest, A/B/O, hybrids, pregnancy of any kind, infidelity, abuse, suicide attempts, high school AUs, gang/mafia/mob AUs, Harry Potter AUs, soulmate-identifying marks, master/pet/slave play, age play/infantilization, omo, scat. "I'm bad at summaries," "how do you tag," "I'm going to hell," etc.If it's longer than ~50k words I will probably not read it unless it was written/recommended by someone I know. I just don't have the motivation to read longfic.
Q: Why don’t you like X thing?
A: This question can very easily feel accusatory, especially from anonymous askers. Curiosity is well and good, but if I feel like I am being asked to justify myself, I will probably not answer. You are allowed to dislike things without owing anyone an explanation.Please do not take it personally if I don't love the same things you love. My opinion is not the pinnacle of opinions. If I don't love a thing that you love, it does not mean that your opinion is wrong or that thing is bad. It just means we have different tastes.
Q: When did you start shipping Yoonjin?
A: I shipped* Yoonjin from the very beginning. When I was a Baby Army and didn't know about ship meta, I was so sure that Yoonjin would be the most popular ship. What a surprise it was when I found out it wasn't.*All ships are fictional and just for funsies. I don't believe any RPS are real.
Q: When did you get into BTS? Who was your first bias?
A: I got into BTS in late 2016, though my first song was Boy In Luv.Seokjin was my bias from the start. You know that little head tilt he does at the beginning of Boy In Luv? It took me 63 seconds to just totally fall in love.While Seokjin is my bias, I am OT7, of course.

A: It's fine to have a personal reading preference, but debating who could/should/would play a particular role during sex is fetishistic. Reconsider and reevaluate if this is something you want to ask about.Not to mention, I've published 218,900 words of fic, so it's super weird if you only want to focus on whose genitals do what.
